A wonderful panoramic view of our coast from the mountains and a walking and car combined trip to our most representative cities in Guipuzcoa. From your hotel we are heading to the Mount Igueldo attractions park to get an unbeatable view of San Sebastian´s beach of La Concha and the city from above. Then, we will drive to the small fishing town of Getaria to visit the medieval village where Juan Sebastian Elcano, the man who first sailed around the world, was born in 1487, the impressive 14TH century church and the port, with an optional visit to the Cristobal Balenciaga fashion museum. From here we will take a road bordering the coast to the village of Zumaia, situated in a privileged location on the Guipuzcoa coastline lapped by the sea and nestled in the bay formed by the mouths of the rivers Urola and Narrondo. The sightseeing here is spectacular. During the last 50 million years the rocks in the coast cliffs exposed to the wind and the waves have created a particular and unique landscape known as the Flysch. We will see the tidal cliffs, and the Santiago dune and wetland, which has a very lively town with a lot of activities and festivals around the year. Going back to San Sebastian we will walk through the bay shore boulevard and admire some points of interest as the Chillida´s El Peine De Los Vientos sculpture on the rocks, and some emblematic buildings, the city hall , the Kursaal museum, the Cathedral and others, as well as the port of Donostia, from where we will take a walk into the downtown restaurants to taste the famous Pintxos, the minimalist food that made San Sebastian famous around the world.
