The Table Mountain National Park is unique in its setting surrounded by the hustle and bustle of a cosmopolitan city. It has many established trails most of which are no more than a twenty minute drive from the city. These are walks on maintained trails and contour paths and not technical hikes or climbs. Trails are selected based on their ease of access and delivery of rewarding views to the keen walker. All routes showcase the Cape Peninsula's natural beauty. PLEASE NOTE: A moderate level of fitness is required for this tour. After collection at 8.30am we will proceed to the start of the trail - a short trip of approximately 20 to 30 minutes, depending on the trail selected. All routes have fantastic sea and mountain outlooks. We walk amongst a huge variety of plants and flowers (Fynbos) in what is part of the Cape Floral Kingdom and we may be lucky enough to spot some local fauna. We walk at the pace you subscribe - usually that of the slowest group member. Numerous rest/refreshment (snacks and drinks included)/photo stops will be had. Your guide will explain points of interest and aspects of the nature around you. After our walk you will be returned to your accommodation via the Constantia Valley, in time for lunch.
