The Incas called this great valley as Sacred, because its rich agricultural soil and nature deities, those are still possible to see along the valley. The surprising terraces for farming are amazing to see, same as the stunning temples and villages such as the pisaq religious sector, Ollantaytambo town and religious sector and finally the amazing Chinchero and its people. Because of many reasons you must do the sacred valley tour, where you also can find the possibility to stay couple day in one of the many lodges and hotels that you can find in it, another smart idea is to extend the tour to machu picchu. In the morning at around 08:00 I will meet you in your hotel in order to start the tour. We leave cusco in a car or minivan, after about 01 hour driving we'll arrive and visit the Pisac archaeological site and walk some ours in its magnificent sectors such as kantupata (an small settlement, then see the water fountains and the largest tombs from incan times, after that go to get even more surprised to the religious sector where I will explain you all the details of this sector as the archaeological and historical information. After this tour, there is time to gte down to the valley to drive towards Ollantaytambo, but previously an stop is needed for lunch, a recommended place for lunch is Urubamba, where mainly restaurants offer novo-andean buffet lunch. After lunch the tour continues to visit Ollantaytambo, it's considered as the living inca city, because it conserves the original inca design which wasn't modified, it's still possible to walk in its streets then climb up the religious sector, then to visit chinchero and its woman weaving centers, the colonial church, and inca building. After that there is time to get back cusco city.
