Day one: When you arrive in the morning(recommended 9-10am) we will go to my house for some welcome tea and when you are ready you will leave for your tour. At each stop you have the opportunity to hike, scramble, and explore in your own time. Over the course of the day you will visit: 1.Lawrence Spring: Walk up through rocks and boulders to find the water (and a lovely fig tree to rest under). The view across the Wadi from here is legendary! 2. Small Red Sand Dune: We like to jump off it & run down it (some silly people also like to roll down it!) 3. Khazali Canyon: You can find on the canyon walls many ancient rock inscriptions (See if you can spot the inscriptions of feet, and the Orynx) 4. Around about now: Lunch We find a beautiful and quiet place to rest and enjoy some food which your guide will prepare for you: 5. El Qattar Spring: You follow a short rocky path to the Spring where you find a fig tree, a great view across the valley and the water which is collected in a small pool in a 'cave' cut into the mountain. There is also an old Bedouin graveyard here 6.To the Camp: Enjoy some dinner, the stars and the night in the desert. In the camp we have Bedouin tents, with mattresses and blankets. We have toilets (one Arab, one Western) and a shower (cold water). We have a main tent with a fire for sitting and relaxing in. The camp is in the white desert in a unique and beautiful location, secluded and away from any other tourist camps. Day two: Today after breakfast in the camp at about 7am, when you are ready you will leave the camp by camel for another full day trek. You can get off and walk at any time, so it is a good way of combining camels & hiking. You will visit a beautiful area in the West of the protected area that we call the white desert. This day is less about 'sites' and more about desert! This a quiet area & less visited than the places you see on your first day. Over the course of the day you will visit: 1. A Bedouin Spring: Here you can see what the Bedouin have done and continue to do to catch the rainwater, when we have it. 2. Around about now: Lunch We find a beautiful and quiet place to rest and enjoy some food which your guide will prepare for you: 3. A Small Natural Rock Arch: This natural rock arch is not marked on the map, but it is nice to see. You can also explore around the area scrambling on the small mountains if you like to do this. 4. The 'Chicken' Rock a unique 2 legged rock in a beautiful location. There is a wonderful view across the red desert to the white desert from here. 5. The Camp for your second night: as detailed above. Day three: This morning after breakfast in the camp at approx 7am we will return to the village by Jeep for your onward journey.
