For its unique identity and cosmopolitan background, for being a city which considers itself as a natural amphitheatre, for the mixture of its different types of buildings, and for many other qualities, Valparaíso was declared a World Heritage site by UNESCO in 2003. Valparaiso exemplifies the importance of what conditions a port city in terms of society, development and architecture. The tour starts with a walk through the most folkloric hills of Valparaíso. Starting at Cerro Alegre, we will stroll through colorful streets to reach the renowned Cerro Concepción. From here we begin the descent towards the traditional centre of Valparaiso, to have lunch in a picturesque restaurant. In the afternoon we will visit some of the oldest and most important buildings of the city. After a day of interesting walks, we will find our way to Viña del Mar via a route with amazing views that overlooks the entire bay of Valparaiso, Viña, Reñaca and Con-Con.
