We make a tour by tram along the Ringstrasse with its splendid buildings (Parliament, Imperial Court Theatre, City Hall, University, Vienna State Opera and others). We walk through the centre of Vienna and see the Hofburg with its squares and courtyards. Then we continue along the elegant Kohlmarkt with the Demel pastry shop, which is particularly worth seeing, then along the Graben to the Pestsäule (plague column) and see the St. Stephen’s cathedral, the city’s landmark. We reach the Belvedere Palace, the summer residence of Prince Eugene in baroque style by tram. From the park we will see the beautiful view over the city. On this tour we will also see the baroque church Karlskirche and the Musikverein, the concert hall where the New Year’s Concert of the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra takes place. No admissions planned. Variations of this itinerary are possible upon agreement.
